Welcome to MELODY Music Outreach, where we bring the joy of music-making to events like the Lafayette Art and Wine Festival and the Concert at the Res through instrument petting zoos. ​
Our Mission
MELODY Music Outreach's mission is to introduce children to playing musical instruments at an early age.
​
Even before the COVID-19 Pandemic, school music programs suffered declining enrollment, which provided a reason to cut offerings when the pandemic hit.
​
To combat declining music offerings in schools, MELODY Music Outreach was formed to expose children to playing musical instruments through community outreach.
